Please join us on March 2nd for the International Tribunal on Crimes Against Women of Burma.
Leading up to the event you can read some of the stories of the women who will be testifying at the tribunal.
We will be Live Blogging during the tribunal on March 2nd.
Currently, too little is known about the situation inside of Burma. Despite the magnitude of the crisis inside the country, it has not yet prompted effective or meaningful change by national, regional or international community leaders.
This People's Tribunal will address this unfortunate reality. The high-level panel of judges -- Dr. Heisoo Shin, Professor Vitit Muntarbhorn, and Nobel Peace Laureates Shirin Ebadi and Jody Williams -- will offer up key policy recommendations, based on the testimony, and call on the international community to act on the human emergency in Burma.
Thank you to Zeitbyte for live webcasting of the proceedings.

The stories they share will represent thousands of other untold stories from across Burma. Stories of fear, anguish, resistance, escape, perseverance and hope for change.Currently, too little is known about the situation inside of Burma.
